Jyotsna, a budding singer with a magic in her voice, has already positioned herself comfortably in the world of film music. She has to her credit a number of Film songs with an identity of her own. She has also won a number of awards like the LUX-Asianet Film Awards 2003 for Best Female Playback singer, Shruthi Bharatam Award 2003 for Best Female Playback singer, “Yuva Prathibha 2003” by Pallavoor Appu Marar Smaraka Kalakshethram.etc. She was also honoured by Swaralaya Palakkad for the unique rendition of the song “Sukhamanee Nilavu” from “Nammal”.Jyotsna Radhakrishnan was born and brought up in Kuwait and Abu Dhabi where she did her schooling upto 10th Std.Her father Mr.Radhakrishnan an Electrical Engineer made her nurture her talents. Her mother Smt. Girija Radhakrishnan and Her sister Miss. Veena doing her MBA at USA have also inspired her in developing her musical talents.

Changampuzha Samskarika Kendram, a cultural centre, as indicated by its very name, is situated in Changampuzha Park, Edappally, in idyllic surroundings. The Park is about 5 kms from Ernakulam Town enroute to Alwaye. Achieving an amazingly fast growth in a comparatively short span of time, the Kendram has now more than one thousand members in its fold. The Kendram started functioning in the year 1997 with the avowed and ambitious objectives of promoting the multi-faceted culture of our country in general and Malayalam literature in particular. To sustain this momentum he has instituted the Kalarippayat Association in the year 19....The mission did not end but continued to propagate this ethnic physical culture and methodical system of self discipline for the benefit of the world community.If one comes across a Kalari in a European or American city, no wonder as many students who learned this art under the guidance of the Gurukul have setup them proving their faithfulness to this system. Kerala Kalamandalam is the premiere public institution in India imparting training in and conducting performances of the classical arts of Kerala viz. Kathakali, Koodiyattam, Mohiniyaattam, Thullal and Panchavaadyam. Founded in 1930 by renowned poet Padmabhooshan Vallathol Narayana Menon along the banks of the river Nila in the Cheruthuruthy village of Thrissur District, Kalamandalam is an immortal name in the cultural map of the world. Training in art-disciplines at Kalamandalam essentially adheres to the ancient Gurukula sambradaaya (The traditional mode of education which calls for a deep bond between the teacher and the student). Kalamandalam is strictly a residential center of learning. Veteran teachers and talented students are its inestimable wealth. For art-recitals held in Kalamandalam and outside, artiste-teachers and students participate. Kalamandalam Kathakali, Koodiyattam, Mohiniyaatam and Thullal Troupes have traveled widely in India and abroad for programs, lecture-demonstrations and workshops. Nirmithy Kendra Thrissur was registered as a society in 1992. In the initial years the centre was engaged in construction of CEEF buildings and in training of masons, carpenters, supervisors etc. In the year 1995 with the KFW grant a production centre at Pananchery was started, where concrete hollow blocks, doors and window frames, Ferro cement shelves, Pavement blocks etc. are produced.
