2. Nirmithi kendra

Nirmithy Kendra Thrissur was registered as a society in 1992. In the initial years the centre was engaged in construction of CEEF buildings and in training of masons, carpenters, supervisors etc. In the year 1995 with the KFW grant a production centre at Pananchery was started, where concrete hollow blocks, doors and window frames, Ferro cement shelves, Pavement blocks etc. are produced.

Other Partners are: Mr. Tom Joseph, Mr. Joe K. John and Mr. Saji Thomas. All of them are well-experienced business people who are engaged in various business fields for the past 10 years.

5. ASHRAYA Kerala

ASHRAYA is a refuge, working as a social and democratic institution with a secular outlook to provide shelter and protection to those needy in the society including orphans all over the State of Kerala. Hundreds of destitutes are being looked after in different institutions like ‘Ashraya Aisubhavan’ Kottarakkara, ‘Sanketham’ Kaleeyapuram, ‘Ashraya Sisuvihar’ Mitrapuram, Adoor, ‘Sahayi’ Edappal, Malappuram and ‘Snehathazhvara’ Wayanad. We render so many humble contributions in the social, cultural and educational fields. Some of them are distribution of free food in Govt. Hospitals and free Ambulance Service. At the moment the activists and volunteers of this Charitable Society are looking forward to starting a new venture ‘Sevagram’ in Thiruvananthapuram to protect and rehabilitate AIDS victims and the mentally retarded tramps in the city who abounds to more than a thousand. ASHRAYA, which was started on 7 April 1994 got registration as a Charitable Society with No. Q 537/96 under the Charitable Societies Act. The activities ‘Ashraya’ and its sister concerns are led by a 125 member General Body, a 25 member Executive Committee and a various Helpage Committees in different centers.
