Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering was established in the year 2002 by Kunnathunadu S.N.D.P Union, head quartered at Perumbavoor with a view to accomplish the ideals of Sree Narayana Guru (1855-1928), the great sage and social reformer who is considered as the leader of IndianRenaissance movement.All India council For Technical Education accorded sanction for offering three B.Tech courses in COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERINGELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERINGELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERINGin the institution from the academic year 2002-2003 .The sanctioned intake for all the courses are 60 each and the institution is affiliated to MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY ,KOTTAYAM. College of Engineering Trikaripur is a fast growing Engineering college in north Kerala. Besides this college, CAPE is having, four other Engineering Colleges, located at Perumon, Vadakara, Thalassery and Thrikkaripur, and one Medical College at Kochi. The College is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The admissions are as per the list forwarded by the Controller of Entrance Examinations, Kerala and functioning of the college is as per the rules and regulations formulated by the Government of Kerala and CAPE.
